Getting started — Personal

1Log in with Battle.net on ParseCard (if you haven't already).
2Link your Discord — connects your Discord account to your credit balance. One-time setup.
3Click Add to My Apps above and choose “Add to my apps” when Discord prompts you.
4Open any Discord server, type /parsecard and paste a log link. Done!

FAQ

What's the difference between “Add to server” and “Add to my apps”?

Add to server installs the bot for your whole guild. Anyone in the server can use the commands, no account needed. Add to my apps is personal. You need a linked account, but you can use /parsecard in any server, even ones without the bot. You can do both.

Do I need a ParseCard account?

For personal use, yes. Log in at parsecard.app with Battle.net, then link your Discord. This is how the bot knows your credit balance. Free accounts get 5 Discord generations per week. If your server has a Guild plan, members can use the bot without any account.

How do credits work for the server?

Guild plans have a shared credit pool. Everyone in the server shares those credits — no individual accounts needed. The bot checks for credits in this order: cached (free) → server credits → personal credits.

Does everyone see the card?

Yes, /parsecard posts the card publicly in the channel. /parsecard-status is ephemeral (only you can see it).

How long does it take?

Usually 3-10 seconds per card. Cached fights are near-instant. First-time generations take longer because the bot fetches data from the Warcraftlogs API.
